Re: DDO
I played it a loooong time ago when it first came out. I didn't like that you could only heal health and magic at preset locations in the dungeons, because if the first battle goes badly, you know you are screwed for the whole dungeon so there is no reason to go on. Also, the game was very claustrophobic, only taking place in dungeons.

Re: DDO
yeah the areas are far bigger and much more outdoor locations. I also got mad at it early on but like it far better now. They also got rid of the party dependency some.

Re: DDO
What about the healing? Do you naturally heal over time now (like in every other MMO)? That was probably the thing I hated the most about the game, because one wrong move screwed the party because you would waste finite heals.

You can play free now? I was in the beta test for this and didn't buy it. Glad to hear it's improved. I may have to check it out

Then you should definitely know, unless they have really changed things a lot. Clerics only had a certain amount of magic points, and once they were gone, they were gone until you found another healing point in the dungeon. I was a cleric, too, when I played. I had to watch my heals so closely, because I only could cast about 10 or 12 before I was out and needed to hit a healing point in the dungeon to get my magic points back.hallsofvallhalla wrote:i am not sure about the healing. they have improved the Clerics. I was a Cleric in the beginning too. Made it to level 7, the cap in the beginning. They are much better now.

If your talking bout Dungeons & Dragons Online, yeah, I do play it. But I'm mostly focused on Perfect World International.

I am a PS CS4 artist. Signature above made by me.
