That is definitely possible, but for your average, just-starting-out-player, their first level 20 will take about 10 - 15 hours. Of course the game was designed to reach level cap in one or two days so that players can join the GvG playLast Known Hero wrote:I probably put in 400-450 hours to cap lvl 50 in City of Heroes, the old fashion way of levelling that is, pure grinding. The fastest Max level character I have ever had was in Guild Wars and I got him to lvl 20 in about 2 hours.

I played the demo for a week and only got to like level 7 lol. Of course, I did make a few different characters to see which one I wanted.Jackolantern wrote:That is definitely possible, but for your average, just-starting-out-player, their first level 20 will take about 10 - 15 hours. And that is part of it. I am also considering /played, and not actual time spent doing quests, etc. Part of a new player's time to level cap is going to include finding a guild, socializing, failing certain content due to learning curve a couple of times, etc. Most hardcore players with a character already at cap can oftentimes cut the to-cap time of a new player in half, or sometimes even 75% if they are a dedicated power player.Zerk wrote:I played the demo for a week and only got to like level 7 lol.
