Re: Need Admins/Mods
You may want to repost this in the "Recruitment" section, as this is really more for talks about the engines. Also, you would likely want to change the thread name to "Offering admin/mod service" or something like that. "Need admins/mods" sounds like you need an admin for your game
Good luck!

that is why you design your admin/mod panel for the job or person. I am currently designing a admin system that can be customized for each game.

Your best bet would be to start playing a game where you can communicate directly to the developer(s). This is typically the way it goes for any game, and has been that way since the old MUD days. Show loyalty to the game and become a stable, respected member of their game's community and it will happen. You just have to be patient.yacknying wrote:Well I understand why you would say that you dont like me as a mod or what ever because you dont know me but i will do a good job and do what i am told i have owned servers/games before but of the cost i had to stop but i am just willing to help others out
Don't take offense, as we aren't implying that anything you have said or done makes us think you are untrustworthy, but it is important to trust all of your admins/mods/GMs with your life. They can destroy a game in a matter of minutes either on purpose (spawning tons of items or gold and giving it out or simply deleting the database) or inadvertently (by pissing off members of the community to the point where it causes players to leave). It is just highly unlikely that someone would take in a mod that they don't know from the forums. And I would be very wary of any developer who would accept people they don't know to do any liveteam job beyond the most mundane, locked-down tasks. They likely have no idea what they are doing, and your experience as a mod would likely suffer because of it.
Best of luck!
