I appreciate that but it wasn't just you. Someone else did it to and I just got sick of all the cheaters.

It is important that you know that they edited my post at the forums. I merely reported the two that were in my logs and they edited the hell out of my post. Not sure why but got messaged by someone else who you messed with and they said the same. Has something to do with their forums being hacked. Weird bunch over there

Really the cheaters were just too much to deal with. I write games and have no time to deal with constantly updated the server to stop them. No worries though man.

it did the same day my server was up. All the links went to a porn site and someone posted, your forums suck or something. They are deleting all posts referring to it so it doesn't get any attention. Very shady forums if you ask me.

Let me throw this out there as a last review mention. If you are looking for a low spec requirement FPS for lan games then Assault Cube might be good. Although I can't get any of my ATI cards to run it. They are incredibly slow and give a gamma error.

It got hacked? Too bad I never saw that. Their forums are the worst.

I have an ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics card, and it runs AC at 40fps on average with vsync on. The gamma works fine, maybe you need to fix your graphics card driver.

tried that, there are several posts on ATI and Cube issues. These are mobile card on laptops, otherwise I would have replaced them with nvidias already.

I have lan parties every now and then and just looking for good lan games.

Why are you playing a game that you admit is extremely buggy? If a game is buggy I immediately uninstall and move on. Assault Cube looks terrible. While I know graphics are not everything, the videos I have seen look like an 1999 or 2000 FPS, or an FPS Creator game. The gameplay also looks very generic.

@Halls: As far as FPS games go, F.E.A.R. is ok. While it is not a true FPS Gears of War is extremely fun (it is a third-person shooter). Ripping up people with the chainsaw bayonet just never gets old and the guns feel great (something FEAR didn't get right). I don't know how the online play works on the PC, though, considering that I played it on the XBox.
