My game (name undetermined at his time)
This will be a browser based game using mainly php, and i believe its called ajax for the interactive map.
First off thank you Halls for the tutorials they are helping alot since i am new to php and making browser games. I am learning fast and you make awsome turorials.

Concept:
The Game i set in a Alternate Universe, and the year is 2010. Ten years a go a zombie epedemic began to break out over night. Some world leaders thought it was the result of an atack by other nations, and a small nuclear war broke out. Alot of the world now is inhabitable, and all nation goverments have fallen. After the nuclear war many people were still alive and near the highly radioactive area, causing them to mutate. These mutated humans were bitten by zombies starting a new kind of zombie that can mutate and does not decay. These zombies are smarter, but still do not have the means to communicate or use weapons. They continue to mutate always getting stronger. The human population is not even a fraction of what it used to be. Small factions of humans still survive across the world. They have had to revert to hand made weapons, and guns are such a rare comodity that some people wont put a price on them. Most of the world is overrun with Radioactive zombies and mutated animals. Some humans have learned to control and use mutations to thir advantage.

Very big crafting system including rare recipes
Factions who you can work for
Crafting Level that is independent of regular level
Marketplace system for auction
Player Vendors
Pvp
Clans(guilds)
Thousands of Quests with more added weekly
A Avatar system where you see your character and the armor/weapons he/she has equiped
A full Chat System with Private messaging
A wide range of skills and Mutation powers ( Magic )
A Very wide range of unique monsters and npc's
and many more
We are hoping to have so much content and every expanding content you wont have to be limited on how much you can play again.
Number of classes and class names are unditermined at this time. I am looking at a good 2 years or more of development to get this game where i want it to be. Alpha should be later this year going into beta next year.
The full story and more idea will be updated in this post as they develop and come along.

doing most of the coding myself
and thank you
i think 2 years for the full game is a good time with the amount of content i want in the game but ill have something playable with basic features late this year with all the core features done by sometime next year for beta I am trying to be reasonable on my time to make it because i dont want to make a promise i cant keep but i will say it may not take to years thats just my goal

My game: Impedimenta, will rely heavily on player created units and a player created economy. But so I need highly robust algorithms.
The Impedimenta game engine should be done in a few months atm.
Oh, and also what are you doing for the map?
I am getting caught in the scripting of it and because it is flash I have to do all the unpleasant flash stuff.

Was hoping to make a bigger update with more images and screenshots of the site but this will have to do. Hoping for a bigger update on sunday or monday.
Some stuff i worked on at work its a very small update .. these are sprites for weapons. I got bored at work so i loaded paint and got to work lol When i get home im going to load them into photoshop (to make them look better). These will be sprites for your inventory of the item plus i am going to be placing them on your paper doll for your character .

thank you, i used to suck at making them but i got better ever since ive been getting bored at work. I will post some of my flags i made for the game nation of states. I did them all at work because i was bored, and all in paint.

Well i am posting another update
this one is a little bigger then the last. It shows off a new sprite and also the starting of the human paperdoll. Later on there will be both male and female, and the sprite for the armor still needs shading.
But i did want to show off that was made possible by halls and the community of indie resource.

So right now i have it so the armor and weapons have equipped show up on your paperdoll. It changes the position of the image according to the weapon and armor, because not every picture is the same size.

And of course the paperdoll image will look better down the road too i have the outline and basic stance of it down. I will add shading, details, and remove the red outline down the road.
