How you read the forums

Post by PaxBritannia »

I was wondering how everyone else reads the forums.

Normally I click the "view new posts" link and then read everything, and only post in some which I feel I can contribute.

I thinks halls does the same. But how do people actually read the forums?

i just go down the list where the folder icon shows new posts and read them, and yes I try to read them all but only post where I can contribute.

I used to do that, until I found the "View new posts" link.

That is what I do, too. I guess just because that is how I always used to read forums, and the "View new posts" page just seems a bit too unorganized for me.

Dude, the view new post button is too advanced for me, i just scroll down and see what has changed... sometimes i post, sometimes i don't, depends whether i have much relevant to say.

I do the same thing as Pax. The "View New Posts" button helps a lot.

I also just kinda scan for changes. Particularly if I know I attempted to contribute something. I've had the new post thing miss a few things I wanted to see unfold

That has happened to me a few times as well. The new post feature sometimes misses some posts.
