An idea that sort of evolved from the shooter clicker idea. This is just a dry run version at the moment.
Basically using an image map, you have to figure out the right spots to hit on the target, then remember them in latter fights once you figure it out. Three correct hits in a row and you win that fight! Get it wrong and you get hit and have to start over!

Re: Boxer clicker idea
Pretty interesting idea! The only thing I would be worried about is players telling other players where to hit a specific enemy. What if you randomized it for each mob at the time of the player's first battle with it and stored it in the database for future use?
The indelible lord of tl;dr
Re: Boxer clicker idea
Thanks! I'm not too worried - people always seem to either look up spoilers on the net (even with nethack) or work it out for themselves. Primarily it's supposed to be a simple memory game with a more fun interface and while they could keep referencing a spoilers page for each, I think it'd be a pain in the bum to do so. I'm also going to impliment a short timer (backed by the timer recorded in the database) of about three seconds or so for the real deal.
Though having monsters who's correct hit locations change say once a week would be interesting, just to spice things up every so often!
