Deleted a few of his messages but I have to have Halls deal with it directly to his e-mail and/or IP.

These will be gone soon, sorry.

Okay thanks. Spammers are so annoying. Ask halls if he might be able to match the ip With someone elses. It seems like the spammer knows halls

Why do you say it seems like the Spammer knows Halls? Granted I left some of them unread once I got the gist of what was going on, all the ones I read seemed quite random. What I would think is that it was a spam bot roaming from site to site with a human operator quickly entering capchas or trap fields on the registration. Sometimes the operators are entering hundreds of captchas and traps every hour to get their bots into sites. I would assume it is just a random attack like that.

the reason why is because auto-bots(hehe) do not get through my registration. It takes someone going through my registration then handing it over to a bot. It is the same person doing it. Anytime you see a bit here it 95% one person still pissed with this site.

What kind of a person holds such a grudge that they would repeatedly make a new account, just to spam the boards with bot messages? You must have really ticked him off :)

haha it is a looong story and if you knew this person you would understand. They have nothing better to do with their life and are a very vengeful person.

It actually barely affects the site. Little to nothing. This is the first time out of many attempts it did anything so not a big deal.

Exactly. I have used a bot once just to see how it worked because my old forum was getting spammed everyday. And also in one of the topics he called hallsofvallhalla "halls" and nobody calls him that unless they have been on here before. When I first got here I called him hallsofvallhalla until I realized everyone else called him halls and it was just easier and simpler

Ohh weird, I must have missed that post then. I just assumed it was a random bot with a human gatekeeper getting it past registrations.
