I've heard about it, but not much heard any good or bad regarding it. If you had to rate it, 1-10, 10 being the highest, compared to Unity, how would you rate this engine?
Granted, I see that its free for non-commercial games...

Unity is a hell of an engine.. But stacking againest Unity 10 the highest I give this an 7.5 only because it's still new to the market.
Overall I've had zero problems importing my models into the engine.. That being DAE or OBJ formats.. The fact that I can import a textured mesh and break it apart based on sub tools or mapping is killer. Also it's got it's own animation/skeleton system which is nice.. You can rig right there in the engine. Materials editor is very nice and can be called on the fly..
world editor is nice when connecting if you don't have a server. Buddy and myself I hosted and he connected where able to work inside the editor on the same terrain and upload content at the same time.. Wasn't bad..
I could go on.. but unity hard to stack againest because both engines have very nice things about them.. But unity has been out longer so I give it a better rating..
if you head to the web site under tools.. there is a host of videos showing off things under the each tool asset..

Re: Esenthel MMO Engine
Esenthel is a extremely nice and affordable package. it is impossible however to compare to Unity. They are two different engines. One is built and for more RPG, maybe FPS style while the other is a generic building for several types of games.
For RPGS Esenthel is top notch and destroys Unity in a flaming pile of bagged dog poop. On the other hand for top down, side scroller, Iso, and many other types of games Unity takes crown.
These two engines cannot be compared. Both are quite awesome. It is like comparing a Ferrari and a Toyota 4wd. They both are friggn sweet in their own way.
