So I have written this huge report for my work that shows all the stats of agents in one of our call centers. It does tons of math to get percentages of all they do. Billable, research, ect.. Well now they want me to integrate their payroll hours into it along with actual phone log time.
Problem is the payroll department is defunct and they can only export that to .pdf. I currently use VBA to import excel data and data I pull from the Avaya phone system.
Anyone know of a free program to convert the .pdf to excel?
pdf to excel
Re: pdf to excel
I stumbled across a website quite a few years back called Google. It's a search engine. What happens is you type something in and it searches it. You can find it here: http://google.com/
I searched for 'pdf to excel' and it came up with this: http://www.pdftoexcelonline.com/

Re: pdf to excel
Where does it say it costs 99$? For the online conversion it says its "completely free"? (I didn't have a PDF to try on my laptop, so if there's some kind of hidden fee I didn't see, I apologize)

If you want to download the program, not use the site itself costs $99 or a 14 day trial

In that case I can't seem to find anything that will fit the bill for free. I'll take a look around again tomorrow see if I can find anything

Did you check on Source Forge? It is a great place to look for file converters and that type of thing, and you can be pretty sure it won't have malware in it. However, a lot of the stuff out there is simply components that are not very user-friendly. Sometimes you will be surprised, though. Even if you do have to go the component-route, it is usually pretty trivial to write a GUI for a something like that.
