RougeLike Competition! STARTS TOMARROW!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I am challenging anyone who likes to play old school rougelikes to a competition of a game of ADOM. This is one of the most difficult rougelikes I have ever played but it is extremly fun. I will post the rules below.

The game will start 1 week from now so that new players can get the hang of it.
Also, if you are a beginner as soon as you get in game type (shift+?) and than go to key bindings.

The game works for both windows and mac and is only a 1.7mb download

1. Players will start once the game leader (N04h) has posted the ADOM COMP. topic

2. Once the game is started all players must post a screenshot of there character at lvl. 1 with a small description of the characters class, race, and name.

3. Once the players character is dead they are out of the competition and may not rejoin.

4. Every 5 levels players must post a screenshot of there character.

5. The player who reaches the highest level at the end of the competition is the winner.

6. Anyone who is caught cheating in any way will be disqualified from the competition.

7. Players will also be recognized for having the most gold at the end of the competition.

The highest level I have gotten to was 8 on a dwarf pally.

By the way if you are just starting pally is probably the best way to go.

I'm still mulling over the idea - I've known of ADOM for a long time and it hasn't called out to me. What's the end of game objective in it?

Survivng the longest. most people wont last more than 15 mins so it should be quick and fun.

Two things - how do you heal? It doesn't seem to be over time, like in nethack? Also, how to you put armour on, that you've found? I squinted at the instructions for awhile, but I was more keen to look through instructions years back.

For armor just type "I" and it brings up inventory.
