Overlords: My game

I havent settled on the game name for sure yet. I kinda like them short and simple, but i might add to it. Like: Klowns overlords or something. lol

I figured I would upload a couple screens of my game. Its been a work in progress for a little over a month. Its a standard layout for a middle ages rpg. As you can tell im horrible with photoshop but the artwork is original lol. Maybe if this is good enough to publish online one day ill get an artist to help me out. Im still working out the storyline and details as i go. Im not much for foresight and preperation.

on preview i noticed this image has the right side nav bar missing. its empty now but will contain boxes with site news updates and maybe player quick tips or info of another kind.

Wow, looking very good

Although I think it looks fine, I will pass on a tidbit of wisdom I figured out the hard way over the years: If you are not the artist-type, always err on the side of darker colors. Something about dark (typically black) backgrounds can just make small icons and other assets look a bit better, and it also reduces the chance of accidental color-clashes. You can also bluff your way through making shading on pictures when appropriate as long as you don't make it too pronounced, and just a touch of a darker hue than the color you are shading. While there really is nothing wrong with it, maybe darkening the background to the item slot icons could help as would maybe altering the background color of the page itself. It seems a little jarring to have what looks on my monitor as a cream-colored backdrop with white in some of the image backgrounds.
