Firefox 5!
Firefox 5!
It's finally here! I think it is a TON better than any version of Firefox that I ever had and it also looks a lot more sleek too! The extra speed is quite useful also! What do you think about it?

Re: Firefox 4!
I have to say I have really, really gotten used to Chrome. I did update to the latest Firefox for HTML5 testing, but I am so rooted into Chrome I don't think I could permanently change. Not that Chrome is necessarily better, but well..it's where I keep all my stuff lol.
I forgot to check, does Firefox finally have a combined Search/Address bar in FF 4? After getting used to that in Chrome, that has always been my #1 gripe about FF, since they kept them separate bars for so long. It seems small, but it is totally irritating once you get used to it lol.

Yeah I know what you mean about chrome, it took me a while to switch back but I did so just for web development things on it and it works pretty good. Yes you can google in the address bar but there is also a search bar still.Jackolantern wrote:I have to say I have really, really gotten used to Chrome. Chrome is my baby now. I only use Firefox for Firebug and that is rare now.

Re: Firefox 4!
While it has gotten about 20,0000x better in the last version, I still have a few issues with Chrome's rendering (maybe not even its rendering, as I don't know where the problem is stemming from). It used to be every few pages, but now only about 1 in 50, will have an image link broken. I open it in Firefox or IE, and the image displays no problem. I use no add-ons or extensions in Chrome, so I know it isn't that causing the problem. Aside from that, which as I mentioned before, is a small gripe now, it is an excellent browser, and its HTML5 support really has caught up to and maybe even surpassed Safari.

Firefox 4 was released a couple of months ago. In fact, Firefox 5 is soon to be released. Just to let you know

That's odd, I have never had that problem.Jackolantern wrote:While it has gotten about 20,0000x better in the last version, I still have a few issues with Chrome's rendering (maybe not even its rendering, as I don't know where the problem is stemming from). I downloaded FF 5 last night and it runs really fast, although I still prefer Chrome.
