Wow, very cool! I think I am going to pre-order the DVD to support the project and the film makers!

dont be sad halls, you are a master in game making, you should be proud just to have this community that (some of them) learned how to make a game with your tutorials and help
About the movie, it looks very good and it acutally made me cry.. because i just realize... i never completed something.. :'(

This has been linked here before which is where I got it, but this article is probably the best thing I have ever read about getting a project to completion. It is probably one of my highest-suggested reads in indie game dev ever!vitinho444 wrote:About the movie, it looks very good and it acutally made me cry.. because i just realize... i never completed something.. :'(

This is so true and that made me stop the game i was making (Business World Online) because it needs a lot of research and as im solo.. it needs to be paused for now :SThey say the last 10 percent is really 90 percent, and there is truth to this. It’s the details that end up taking a long time.

Glad you liked it as much as I did! I particularly took to heart the part where it said to stop continuously looking for the perfect engine/platform/technology, and just finish something, considering that one of his Game Maker projects actually lead to a port to Xbox Live Arcade! I don't know how many years I have lost over this last decade or so by quitting projects over and over because "the technology wasn't going to work out for what I envisioned". Ugggh..
