In my opinion, open-source HTML5 games engines are nowhere near their alternate-platform counterparts. Some of the better-looking ones are cryptic and have little if any documentation, and then some have docs but are either too narrow-use or appear to offer very little. That is why I bought ImpactJS for any HTML5 game development I get in to. It isn't open-source, and it costs money, but it is hands-down the best HTML5 engine available today and for the foreseeable future (which, admittedly, isn't very far in web technologies lol).
And Halls, Isogenic wasn't open-source last I checked. I believe you get the source when you buy a license (rather expensive), but you cannot share or distribute the source.

yes for now you are right , html5 is still in its basic forum. but this is what will be in a few years .
so its better to master it now.
and ImpactJS is great looking . but still i need free one. i dont have the cash to spend on it.

Akihabara looks good, but it has basically 0 documentation. If you are up for spelunking through the source to figure out how to use it, this one has a lot of promise. I would also not hold my breath for any docs considering that the author has stated he is just making his own personal engine publicly available. He made it for himself, and does not seem interested in writing documentation or tutorials. But so far it has some of the best demos I have seen for a free HTML5 engine.

looks interesting. If you give it a try make sure to let us know how it goes.
Re: from your experience what is the best html5 game engine
sure will , my futuristicplan is to take html5 framework and make it able to convert to SDL (c/c++) and android (java) games
what do you think about that ? and make it open source .

I agree with Jackolantern, ImpactJS is hands-down the best engine.
