Whats needed next
Re: Whats needed next
Thanks for the replies everyone. Yes I'll look at those Shopping Carts and Mail verification things once I've worked through all of hallsofvahalla's tutorial videos.
By the way HallsOfVahalla, did you manage to get your videos into a format where we could download them to the hard-drive? (I looked at flash-get but it did not seem to work on my machine.)

Re: Whats needed next
I am actually interested in being able to download the videos as well. There are actually quite a few options as far as downloading YouTube videos. I believe some of the best ones are Firefox plug-ins, although even those can be spotty at times, and YouTube breaks them pretty easily (they want you to pay that $1.99 per video). Even ripped from YouTube though, you are at the mercy of their video quality.
Halls, if you want to put up the videos for the community to download, I have a Rapidshare account, which I always keep up to date. I can put them up for you, and that will basically give unlimited downloads and a permanent house for them (a free account only has 10 downloads before the file is deleted).

Actually, I just did a Google search, and found a great, super easy resource. The site is called Savevid.com. You just need the URL, which is offered on the YouTube video page. Just go to SaveVid, enter it in the text field next to the Download button, click download, and then select to save it as an MP4 format, which will play in DivX. I tried it, and it is simple as that.

Well, I kind of simplified it. It was not right on Google. I found a YouTube video after searching on google, and followed it to another video, and on that video the link to the site was given. It really is an amazing site (you can even convert your download to mp4 on the fly), so I was surprised it was not a bit easier to find it.
