And by the way what the hell is up with those "zombie tsunamis"? Not that it isn't kind of cool looking, but wow...

World War Z trailer finally hits
So, the World War Z trailer finally hit today, and...hmm...it is interesting. Just as the Internet buzz was hinting at months ago, the plot of the book it is "based on" (which centers on a low-level UN worker compiling stories from remote Chinese villages to the largest urban areas surrounding the outbreak during humanities rebuilding after the zombie apocalypse) was completely thrown out in favor of a UN agent having to race against the clock to save the world from the zombie apocalypse

Well, once the solarum virus lets you break basic laws of thermodynamics, scrambling piles of zombies is kinda small fry.

Ugh, love conquers all! And some kind of perfect return to 'normal' humanity? Zilight.
Or is the trailer just lying to me?
Seems a good opportunity to question the human condition, rather than another return to 'the status quo is great and believe in love (and get back to your work and paying taxes)'
If it got hollywood-ified, I'd like to see the original script or book it came from.

The similarities between this movie and the book are this: There is someone from the U.N. That is about it. Not the setting, characters, or even the phase of the zombie apocalypse are the same. The book centers on a UN agent collecting people's stories from the outbreak while humanity is rebuilding after the zombies have been put down.Callan S. wrote:If it got hollywood-ified, I'd like to see the original script or book it came from.

haha nice! Does hollywood-ified is a term for fake or exaggerating things?

Sorry Jack, my last post was in regard to the link Ark gave!
Ark, more towards sacarinification and confirming beliefs (that support the status quo) rather than challenging beliefs, rather than things like guns that never run out of bullets/never need reloading.

All i know is that the movie looks epic
I love how all the ozombies are running over each other like a wave and whatnot in the streets. and i love the part where they're climbing the wall
