This piece of worthless life decided to flip off the tomb of the unknown solider. she was fired. as well as the person taking the photo. i hope she never gets a job again, and has to live in poverty her entire life. this is a huge disrespect to me personally i feel, as i am going into the military this summer

Curious - someone I know was hit by a garbage truck driver as he looked one way while turning another. Could almost have been killed. Suffered extensive time in hospital and frightening life threatening infection threats.

This person shouted at some earth.

The garbage truck driver got a $200 fine, not even a demerit point on his license. Let alone forced to lose his job.

This person should rot in poverty?

When we put the dead before the living, even the stupid living, it becomes a strange world.

The soldier might just have flipped her off in return if her were alive and that might have been enough for him. Maybe a pimp slap and that's enough. Best not to decide too much what his choice was for him, unless he had something in his will about it. He might have thought that he fought even for the stupid people, not just the ones who think exactly as he does. Which is a noble sentiment.

Freedom of speech has a price. Everything offends somebody. Muslims got offended over that film a few months ago. I Jewish friend of mine was once up in arms that you can buy the Protocols of the Elders of Zion on Amazon and thinks that book should be banned. If you want speech offensive to you curtailed, then you should be prepared to accept that speech offensive to others should also be curtailed. The flip side is that one person's legitimate boundaries for free speech is another's pathetic political correctness. As for me, I'll just accept that I don't have a right not to be offended.
