hello solved

Post by pbd2008 »

My name is Jack and I am graduating from the university of phoenix in april but I find the c++, css, and JavaScript courses I have taken are not getting me where I need to be. I have been try to build a text based game for the web but I am having difficulties with the processing the login form. I thought it should authenticate error page then if any is false but if true it would redirect to the main.php where the actual games location would be. However, it is not working yet due to my lack of proper training. Can you help with from start to the finished product? I have no way to pay you yet, but I can add you as a developer giving full access after it is completed.

Welcome to the forums :)

Have you learned any web-centric languages, such as PHP, Ruby, C# or others? The reason I ask is because C++ is just not typically considered a web language, and creating websites with it can be complex.

Oh, and we don't typically charge money for advice ;)

i am looking into a ba degree could you tell me what courses i would need to take? in order to build a total text based game for a website with a hosting service of my choice..

You can post code and/or questions in any of the development-related forum sections, such as Beginner Help, General Development, Coding, etc. Don't stress too much about which of those to post in (particularly the 3 given by name) as there is a lot of overlap. You would not want to post any code in Introductions, Off-Topic or similar, as they would likely not get many responses there. :)

One of the editing options in posting a reply is 'code' which is next to 'quote'. You can post inside that, and it makes the code easier to read for folk!
