Logo Contest!

We need a new logo. I personally like the current one but it is a bit old and resolution sucks but the main thing i like is the code in the background. You can however make it however you like. If it looks good and the community votes it the best then so be it!

your art will be seen more than 12 million times a year as it will be used on the site, on youtube, on the resource section, upcoming newsletters, and on my signatures and I am sure others all over the place.

Contest starts now and ends Saturday Oct 26th 8pm central. Voting will commence then and go for 24 hours.

I will make a thread for submissions. You can have up to 5 submissions each.


Dimensions need to be 600px x 80px or at least close and feel free to have a couple size versions or recommend a better size. You can see the current logo at the forums. Building a avatar to match it is a bonus.

Just want to get a clarification on this...

So are we designing a LOGO or a Banner? Since those dimensions are not logo designs and designing a logo is very different than designing a banner with a logo.
