Game of Thrones
Just finished 1st season and I must say WOW! How in the world could anyone watch this crap? It is terrible. How is it on another season? It is completely terrible.

I was hoping halls saying something like: "WOW! What an awesome show... Can't believe they haven't made a movie yet!"
But i was wrong, i didn't watch it yet, but I will eventually, My main "attraction" is obviously... the politics
PS: It has boobs too i know
Re: Game of Thrones
Watch the second season. The first is nowhere near as good as the rest. The first is there basically to draw in viewers, the second begins the actual meat of the show.

Re: Game of Thrones
but the first season killed off any interest I had. I had interest in characters in the beginning and now nothing. It left me with not caring who lives or dies or what happens. No investment.
The politics are probably the biggest fail. I too can get into that but with this show there so much that happens behind the scenes or reason they never say that you are like Wait what? Why did he do that again? Why do I care? Whats the point? When did they mention this before? Who is that guy humping that girl and why do I care?

Hum, I see, Well, I'll give it a shot for the first season too, but on some serious free time (like boring free time)hallsofvallhalla wrote:

I didn't read the books, so I feel like we were in the same boat. The first season wasn't that great, especially at the begging. It does get (alot )better though if you stay with ithallsofvallhalla wrote:but the first season killed off any interest I had. I had interest in characters in the beginning and now nothing. I haven't seen the TV series, just read the book - but part of the story is about how readers/viewers might only care about anything if they are a sure fire winner. It's not just to entertain viewers, its to raise questions about them as well.hallsofvallhalla wrote:but the first season killed off any interest I had.
