Expendables III

Post by eldain-design »

SPOILER MAYBE ??? so dont read :P

saw this some time ago. didnt see anyone else put it up. it was not that good. but not totaly bad either.. it was just fun to see a bunch of old school action heroes together.

but one thing i REALY hated. was the ending with stallone. he was at the bottom fighting, and we see the clock with a few seconds left. with 3 - 4 seconds left. he starts to run towards the roof. what was it.. 10 levels high ?? and 150 meters wide roof that he also have to run accross to get to the chopper.

ye right... couldnt they make it atleast somewhat belivable.

Only thing i hope for, IF they make an expendables IV. is that they have ALL actors that played james bond.

Imagine this: The guys are going to las vegas to relax before next mission update. so they head to the casinos.
Stallone sits down at a table and play cards.. "your turn mr.. "Bond. James bond"...and we have sean connery playing. with 2 hot girls and a martini glass.

Next scene.

Dolph lundgren sits down and play cards. "your turn mr.. "Bond. James Bond"... and roger moore is playing. with 2 hot girls and a martini glass.

imagine this for all the actors that played james bond...

And after wards. the guys group up and talks about who they saw at the tables.
stallone - "Guys, you wont belive whom i saw at the table. "007 - James bond - guess hes not retired".
- Lundgren "Yeh right, i saw him at my table.
- Statham. "Wtf have you guys been smoking. i saw him at my table with 2 hot girls.

all together: "DRINKING MARTINI"... (confusing)...

And when they are about to get into their car. they see all james bond come out from different casinos. and gets into different cars and drives away...

talk about an awesome start of a movie..

That's the main reason why there's still people watching them. The plot is not great, the action is very overpowered for the stars and they try to do "boss-fights" with stallone to make things a little "balanced" but you know stallone will win. On that scene I though he was going to die tbh, how he climbed those 10 floors on broken stairs amazes me, let's call it a chuck norris ride perhaps :D

Also, the leak of the dvd 3 weeks before it hits the theaters ruined a lot of the cash flow as many of the fans saw it ( I was on of them, I won't deny it) and they would pay only if it was that big of a deal (I payed to see 22 jump street 2 times and would go a third if i had a chance).

I think its good they are making this type of movie franchise, but not like they are going now, introducing the "young" action stars. There's lots of "old" stars remaining to include.

My final rate: 10/10 for explosions and action scenes :) I just love those.
