DBPro Bonanza

Dark Game Studio is basically a compilation of DBP and some additional content for a reduced price. The Bonanza includes DGS and the other extensions for even less than the cost of DGS.

exactly. I downloaded all the extras today. I got Dark Physics and played with the demos, very nice work. I love physx. They sent out the disc this morning so quick processing.

Thanks for the explanation! I just thought that TGC had gone to all digital, but I guess not. They probably are trying to move out the old discs so they can finally shut down their warehouse and close fulfillment operations, as Noctrine said.
Whoa, check out this video of an RPG/adventure game made in DBPro. This game is amazing quality to be a hobbyist DBPro game. Definitely shows off what DB can do. It actually looks like a pretty good PS2 game.

Re: DBPro Bonanza
Wow, that Samurai one is incredible! The other two are quite impressive, as they are MMOs built from scratch. However, I am not sure if that Lego MMO is actually a DBPro game, since the thread says it requires the latest Java JVM. No one in the thread called them out on it, though, so maybe it is only part of the program that uses it (they are usually quite protective of having non-DB games in their WIP forum).

That first one is . I wish his screen capture software recorded the videos better though, I really want to see how good it runs.

According to the forum, "While supplies last". I couldn't find any definite date or even a month range, so it's best to get it ASAP

Re: DBPro Bonanza
from what i heard they are using java as the server and part of the client. DBPro talks to a java app then the java goes to the server. I could be wrong on this though.
I think they have a pile of CDs they are wanting to get out the door, so while supplies last will be when they run out of all those CDs
