dunno if i have given them links out b4 but they do alot of flash stuff. webintersect is a social network site with a flash header which inludes the log in and log out stuff. you might want to watch some of the videos off there. might give you abit of insite as to why its not working.
I actually got this working last night. Come to find out, I had the logout saved as an html file, not a php file. So it wasnt working because of that. I just changed it over to a .php and in flash changed the link to logout.php and now all is good. Now i have bigger battles to fight...:S

Alright, when I have a movie, how can I click a pic and it displays some text. Then when I click another pic, it removes the other and displays the new text?
In my race selection screen, I want someone to be able to click a race pic and on the right it describes the race a little. Say for example they click Human. Then off to the right, it tells them a little about them. If they click, "Hydrathian" then it removes the Human info and displays the Hyrdrathian info, etc.
EDIT: This is a separate movie.
EDIT 2: Never mind, I may have figured it out...

the only way i can think of to do that would be to have each of the selections in separate frames, then have it so that when the picture for the other race is selected it moves to that frame.

I got it working before hand, but if I didn't figure it out, what you said would have fixed it! :p

lol, good work, I only knew to do that from when I made a database style thing for Stargate

Thats cool...yeah, I figured out using frames, (key frames) that way it would clear out what I needed. And programmed each button to take me to specific frame (gotoAndStop(5); etc). Now I have to figure out once you log in and look at the members area, if the main window should be done the same way. (IE, shipyard (gotoAndStop(5);), Quests (gotoAndStop(10);), etc) or if I should have each one its own movie...
I don't know what I should do there...as I'm taking your advice and doing a movie swap with the actual game play, and using your ship movement code you provided for me! (Thanks btw).

either way should work, just depends on what you are more comfortable doing, i think each on its own movie would be easier to manage though, that way you wouldnt need to search through the frames if you need to change something.

This is true. Though, wouldn't that be alot of movies? Then again, it might be easier to manage and coding might be a little easier...hmmmm...*thinks*
