Grow a monster game

Post by hallsofvallhalla »

So i have basically been on an idea kick. I have been thinking of different game ideas and trying to come up with another good browser based game. Another idea I was thinking about is a "grow a monster" style game. You breed a monster, feed it, train it, beat, and so on then fight it. It develops skills by how and what you feed it, what you train it, how often you visit it, ect. You would have to fight it to gain money or maybe even craft and sell food for other breeders or even sell your monsters you breed or pay to breed with other monsters. It could be done very easily with php and mysql.

hm i dont know much about neo pets but i think so. You could think of it like a monster breeder. You breed, sell, and fight monsters. Maybe even add tourneys and dungeons.

Kinda reminds me of that TV show some year ago, Monster Rancher?
They had some games that involved taking care of monsters, making them, fighting them. That game was fun, I think i'm going to go buy it...
Anyway, that would be fun even if you logged on every odd day.

It was a tv show, with monsters similar to pokemon or digimon. I am not very familiar too much with the series, but these monsters could talk.
