Nobody getting off the imaginary horses
Today, a few hours ago South Korean rapper Psy's global pop song "Gangnam Style" overtook Justin Bieber's 2-year old song "Baby" as the most viewed YouTube video in history with 806 million views and counting! Bieber's song has long been the untouchable giant on YouTube, but in just 4 months Gangnam Style has taken it down. News of the #1 YouTube usurping have been spreading around the news like wild fire!

I am not sure which song and video I hate more though

I'd maybe heard that was created by a cynical amalgamation of pop in that composition. Something without a soul...oh, that's why it compared with Bieber...

Either way, I feel the fate of my life and that of my future lineage are in better hands with Psy than Bieber.Callan S. wrote:I'd maybe heard that was created by a cynical amalgamation of pop in that composition. Something without a soul...oh, that's why it compared with Bieber...

And really, Gangnam Style is one of those songs that augers a hole into your head and won't get out, but the video itself is actually pretty funny. I think the video is really the main reason the video caught on. It is just so bizarre and random lol.

I find the video to Grace Jone's Slave to the Rythm to be far trippier. Can't find it on youtube at the moment...
