Welcome! :)

WAMP is supposed to be green, not yellow. Do you mean it is stuck at yellow?

older versions of WAMP went white. But if it is yellow then you have something running that is blocking it. Close Skype and any SQL programs running and or web clients. Check the wamp forums as there is a ton of posts with people with the same issue that was resolved.

There is a way right in WAMP to see what is holding port 80 hostage. Unfortunately, I changed to XAMPP, so I cannot try it out myself now to remember, but I believe you click on the WAMP icon, go to Apache (or maybe Services) and then somewhere in there there is an option to "Test Port 80", and it will pop up and say if it is open or being held by another application. If it is open, then you can move past any Skyppe or SQL Server Reporting issues. If it is being held, you can just use Ctrl+Alt+Del to end its services.

If someone who is using WAMP could find this option and tell him where it is, I would appreciate it :)

Welcome! One thing I have come to realize while everyone does this game development thing, is to basically focus on what you want to do and stick with it. No matter how long it takes, just keep moving forward.

Always good to see new people. Above everything, have fun! :D
