Mac software? Best recommendation is installing Linux over it, unless you plan on gaming ;)

I have never owned an OSX device, but one app I am jealous of is one I have heard about several times that is OSX-only: a pixel-art program called Pixen. It is $10 in the Mac Store (apparently it used to be free).

Wow, I would even go ahead and purchase something like that. Imagine the uses for games!

I've been dabbling with some pixel art in my latest project... too bad that is Mac-only, it looks cool

Well, Windows still has Pro Motion, which is the best pixel art program out there. It is just more expensive, and likely has tons of spacey features some people won't need.
