Re: Flash
Ok, I may have found something, though since I am at work, I cannot test this out. Look for "Flash - PHP Register and Login" I found it at:SpiritWebb wrote:neronix17 wrote:same here, its rediculous, ive tried all that i can to correct it, shame its the only tut for that too

If you get a chance before I do, see if it works for you and let me know. Though my problem is jumping frames, (if successful login, gotoAndStop(15)), but I think I may have found a problem. Instead of having different frames, I'm thinking maybe different movies for each one. Login movie, register movie, members area movie...etc. Which would make more sense.
EDIT: The actionscripting for this is as2.

Now I just have to figure out what I'm doing wrong, cause this one is doing the same thing as the other...it won't do anything...
EDIT: I am going to try something different with it tonight, and see if I can get it too work. If it does, I will let you know. I think I might have figured it out on my end anyway!

Re: Flash
The only thing I'm having problems with now, is that when they click logout, it takes them to where they need to go, but doesn't kill the session. After I logout, I go back to members.php, and it loads as if I never logged out.
Thats my logout code. Should I have exit(); also added to it, since I am using flash with this? Should I maybe also add the include_once "connect.php?"
Or is this all being stored in cache? If its being stored in cache, how can the cache be cleared? Lost...
Code: Select all
<?php
session_start();
session_destroy();
?>
//under neath this is the coding for the page itself, the logout.swf file...//

Yeah, I would think so too...try it and see if it works on your end. I added the session_start(); session_destroy(); to the logout.php

dunno if i have given them links out b4 but they do alot of flash stuff. webintersect is a social network site with a flash header which inludes the log in and log out stuff. you might want to watch some of the videos off there. might give you abit of insite as to why its not working.
